Valerie McIntosh

Val's practice is based on drawing, the springboard for paintings, prints and artists books. Previously Val  taught visual arts with Wide Bay Institute of TAFE in both Hervey Bay and Bundaberg.

She finds inspiration almost anywhere, giving rise to a diversity of work and also accepts commissions for work. Her most recent exhibition was a collection of encaustic works, ‘Waxworks’.

Gina Davey

Gina says her primary goal as an artist is to capture the light as it passes through or bounces off an animal or object. "I hope my paintings make people pause for a moment and see something that they may never have noticed before," she said..

Gina is an Artist who has a wonderful understanding of the Natural world. Her attention to light and form is amazing. Gina was featured recently on the natioanal TV show 'Colour in your life'

Hayley George

"I love colour and realism, with a twist!" says Mix Media artist Hayley, and her work certainly has plenty of that. With a young family, Hayley found time to complete her Diploma of Visual Art and she start" Hay Art" after school art classes for primary school aged children in 2010.

The classes soon took off and now Hayley tutors 25 young artists each week. Hayley has also Exhibited in many group exhibitions (local and regional), as well as winning many competitions for her colourful Mix Media pieces.

David Probyn

David’s medium mainly consists of pastel, oils and acrylics. He has a fascination with light and shadow and how they interact with each other and adopts the classical realism style. His subjects include portraiture, seascapes, land and streetscapes, marine art and stillife.
He is influenced by artists , Rembrandt, Dali, Daniel Green, Turner and Australian artists like Frederick Mc Cubbin, Arthur Streeton and Bret Whiteley.

Jo Williams

Jo describes her work as conceptual, spiritual and environmental based, she works through a diverse range of mediums such as installation, sculpture, painting and all drawing mediums.

"I am inspired by my environment, reconciliation, lyrics from a song, a concept, an idea, a story."

Jo is a teacher and is involved in numerous art based events while working her own art practise usually based on an idea resulting in a series of works. Jo is happiest ensconced in her art cave expressing her visual language.

Karen Roberts

I would describe what I create as Mixed Media as I use a variety of mediums to create my sculptural pieces and my paintings. I source discarded objects as well as preloved vintage and sometimes antique pieces to use as parts of my sculptures. My works are Whimsical and Bright and often feature Mermaids, Faeries,Angels and Animals.

I have been in numerous Exhibitions and have had works featured in Magazines such as Australian Ceramics, Resident Magazine, Off the Leash, and most recently Fraser Coast Scene.I love creating and I love the joy creativity brings to others.
